What is ALISEO ES?
ALISEO ES (Easy Shift) is Windex’s cloud software for rostering healthcare staff in compliance with regulations and levels of care. An optimization engine born from research generates the roster in a few minutes and delivers it all the way to the staff member’s app.

Who is ALISEO ES designed for?
For public and private healthcare organizations: IRCCS research hospitals and large hospitals, multi-site ASSTs, RSA nursing homes, IPAB and ASP public care institutions, accredited private clinics and clinic groups. The platform is the same: the configuration changes, not the product.
→ Learn more: Use cases & clients
How is it different from a generic HR system?
ALISEO ES was born vertical for healthcare: it thinks in rostering groups, levels of care, on-call shifts (guardie) and standby availability, and the regulations live inside the engine, not in an add-on module. The result is a roster compliant by construction, not one to fix afterwards.
→ Learn more: Features
Can physician on-call shifts and standby availability be planned?
Yes: on-call shifts and standby availability are managed as roster requirements, with coverage verified day by day. ALISEO ES covers rostering for physicians as well as for nursing and support staff.

Regulations and compliance
What does Italian Legislative Decree 66/2003 (working time) require for healthcare staff rosters?
It sets the limits on working hours and rest: among them the 11-hour daily rest, weekly rest periods and working-time averages. ALISEO ES checks these constraints, together with national collective agreements (CCNL) and in-house rules, before the roster is published.
→ Learn more: Regulatory compliance
Can a roster that violates a regulatory constraint be published?
By default, no: pre-validation checks flag violations as blocking. In emergencies an exception is possible but remains tracked, so the exception is documented and does not become the rule.
→ Learn more: Regulatory compliance
How do you demonstrate roster compliance in an audit or inspection setting?
Every roster, change and approval is stored with its full history: the evidence is extracted as reports, including fire safety and BLS-D coverage for every day of the month. Compliance is not declared: it is documented.

For Management
What management reports does ALISEO ES produce?
Operational reporting (staff situation, understaffed units, reallocatable staff) and management reporting: monitoring of rosters by rostering group, planned versus actual, fire safety and BLS-D coverage, essential levels of care (LEA), anomalies and overtime against budget.
→ Learn more: For Management
How does it help reduce overtime and agency staffing?
Through the overall view: understaffed units and reallocatable staff are visible, lending staff between units is governed and overtime is planned against budget. Cooperation between units reduces the use of agency staff.

Planners and staff
On which devices do staff view their rosters?
On any computer with the myALISEO web app and on smartphones with SmartEmployee, the native iOS and Android app. Rosters, totals and swap requests are always at hand.
→ Learn more: Planners & staff
Are the generated rosters fair across colleagues?
Yes: the engine generates fair, sustainable rosters and the roster rules are transparent and tracked. Less perceived favoritism means fewer conflicts and a better climate in the unit.
